Jake was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico, but grew up in Lynchburg. He began his classic barbering journey in the fall of 2023 with an apprenticeship at Gentleman John's. His passion for barbering started while he was an undergraduate at Liberty University, initially cutting hair for friends and evolving into a mobile barbering hobby. This experience fueled his decision to pursue barbering full-time. Jake enjoys practicing this respected art daily and connecting with clients. Outside of work, he loves outdoor activities like fishing, hunting, and hiking, and enjoys discussing theology and philosophy with friends and clients.
